Dr Roger Ray has a “god-complex”. I had an appointment with him and sat in his office for hours and was finally the last person in the waiting room only to be told he was going to be leaving for surgery but no one ever called me in to my appointment. I’d asked a few times why I was waiting so long and was told it would be shortly a couple of times. As people came in and out of their appointments, after I had arrived for my appointment I was getting agitated. A few months earlier he had put me on a medication and I wasn’t doing well on it. I’d called the pharmacy before my appointment that day as I had not received a call from Dr Ray about the medication, and the pharmacist said I’d need to be taken off the medication gradually. So I asked to be taken off as the pharmacist suggested and Dr Ray said he knew what the medication was and I’d be fine and wasn’t giving me another prescription for it. He said he knew more than the pharmacist did. He was taking me off it cold turkey without weaning me off of it. I told Dr Ray he had a “god-complex” and told him again the pharmacist said I’d need to be taken off that medicine gradually. He refused to do it and he told me I was crazy. I started having a bad reaction as the pharmacist told me it would cause the symptoms I was having if Dr Ray didn’t take me off the medication gradually. I was a mess. When I saw him that last day, finally that was the last time I went to him. He refused to take me off gradually and I had a breakdown. I told him he was playing “God” and refused to call in the medication so I could be taken off as the pharmacist knew I’d have repercussions. He laughed again and told me I was crazy and needed help, that he knew what he was doing. For over a month, almost two months I was a wreck. He’s the sorriest so called excuse for a doctor I’ve ever seen. I’d never want my worst enemy to be in his care or should I say be seen by him. My veterinarian knows more about how to treat patients better than him and I’d not take my pets to him either. He’s the most uncaring idiot, he was intimidated by what the pharmacist knew and was not going to do anything to help me. And didn’t. Beware of this guy. He’s not fit to hold his degree and practice as a doctor. He not a fit human being if he is one. I’ve heard others say they had similar experiences like mine. Please everyone thinking of getting an appointment with him, PLEASE PLEASE reconsider.
