Dr. Wood prescribed my 7 year old son ADHD medication without legal authorization from me. My ex-husband and I have joint legal custody and medical decisions need to be made together. I do not see how a physician can legally give my son amphetamines without consulting both parents! I am outraged! Now I have to deal with my ex-husband trying to give my son the medication through the school nurse as well... Sneaking behind my back at all times. I am not necessarily opposed to medication, but I MUST be included in all the decisions. My son lives with me 90% of the time for a reason. His hypochondriac father should not be making these decisions. Booo to a Dr. who does not check information for the patient!
