If you're in chronic pain, don't bother to visit
Dr. Kourosh Noormand. He over charges, weans patients who have an established regimen off their medications, does not cash insurance checks, overcharges patients and as of January 1, 2019 runs an all cash business...he takes no insurance at all, which I recently learned at my last and final visit on January 15, 2019. When I called my insurance company the following day, I was told he is currently contracted, as he has yet to inform them of his new status. He doesn't pay attention to what patients say and misinterprets what patients tells him. ie: told him I take Benadryl for allergies, he wrote allergy to Benadryl. After I contacted my insurance company,
Dr. Noormand called me, back peddling all the way. Now says he will remain contracted with my insurance company, but insisted I am a Medi-Care patient. That statement is blatantly false. I feel he is trying to cover himself because my insurance had called him regarding multiple issues, including false fees and over payments.
