I do not have insurance although I am on longterm disability for a worker's comp case the past 4 years. My husband let me 2 years ago otherwise I would have medical insurance. Since I am making the house payment by myself, I do not qualify for medical, although since my house payment leaves me with $900.00, I cannot afford to pay for insurance. The office visits seem high and the lab work is very expensive however, I do not know what the rate system is as I have never been w/o insurance. It's not a fancy office and I can only afford to go once a yr at his insistance for my meds and blood work. Last visit his assistant told me that another patient had paid for $20.00 towards my office visit which was over $120.00 not to include $230.00 blood work. I was embarrassed but thought it was generouse of the lady who had left.
