She is a psychoanalyst, enamored with the work of Melanie Klein. She isn't practical. I saw her for too long and now I think of this time as a very much too long waste of time. She cares for the profession but in my experience, less for the patient. She probably doesn't realize it. It was a like a never ending examination where encouragement and understanding would have helped much more.
