Dr. Smith performed a thyroidectomy on my cancerous thyroid (papillary carcinoma). I've been cancer free for over 20 years. My endocrinologist remarked that she did an excellent job removing the tumor, which was considered to be verging on the large side. The incision healed well and is barely noticeable.
