He's such a honestly friendly person you could almost forget that he's a top-flight, exceptionally skilled surgeon--an unusual combination in my experience. He made a hard thing (potentially metastatic melanoma) almost easy for me & I'm very grateful for his emotional generosity (not to mention those mad surgical skills).

Dr Allen Cortez is a highly skilled surgeon. He is a trauma surgeon. I had the gastric bypass with him and it was so easy. I did not even have a bruise. I asked all the nurses and they told me to have the surgery done by him and it was completely successful and a great experience.
