About
Dr. Haraway is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. He received his undergraduate BS degree from Birmingham Southern College and his DMD degree from The University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham. Following dental school, Dr. Haraway completed a one year General Hospital Residency and finished his two year Orthodontic Specialty training at The UAB school of dentistry. During his two years in Orthodontic training he also received his Masters degree in Science by doing clinical research regarding the anatomy of the smile. He also taught in the Orthodontic Residency Program for 6 years as a clinical instructor. He has served as president of the Tuscaloosa district Dental Society, the Alabama Orthodontic Alumni Association and as President of the Alabama State Orthodontic association. He maintains membership in the American Dental Association, The Southern Association of Orthodontists, and The American Association of Orthodontists.

We offer free initial exam/consultations for you and your family. You do not have to be referred by your family dentist to be seen for an initial exam in our clinic.

Our clinic uses the most current (low dose radiation) digital X-ray equipment available which means the least amount of radiation exposure for you and your family members.
All of our instruments are sterilized in a steam autoclave and all supplies are cold sterilized to exceed OSHA regulations, insuring that you will have a safe clinical experience.
Multiple and creative payment plans including 0% financing with monthly payments, 0 down with monthly payments, reduced fee for payment in full.
Our business staff will help you with your insurance filing needs and explain your coverage.
We offer surgical orthodontic treatment and can show you your computer generated image demonstrating the facial profile changes that you would see with this type of treatment for severe skeletal and dental malocclusions.
We enjoy working with your restorative general dentist to develop and implement comprehensive dental rehabilitation and esthetic smile creation custom made for your unique needs.
