Although the physician seemed knowledgeable, my symptoms were severe and I needed test performed at a specific time during the month. The physician did not advise me of that until I missed the timeline. Thus, I have waited 3 months and I have suffered without treatment. When it is bad I visit any emergency room. At my age, I continuity of care is important, Unless my physician retires, I don't change. The physician had all of my medical records and I requested that he contact my physician, to discuss my severe migraines. He referred me to one of his colleagues for a consultation before he would consider treating me. I didn't need a consultation with an unknown physician. I relocated from another state, and I have had the same team of doctors over 15 years, they know me best. Even with medical records from highly rated physicians, I wasn't treated and left to suffer. I am a cash patient and didn't see the immediate need to consultant with an unknown when my medical records and physician was available. He never contacted my physician. Thus, treatment was not given. If you are from out town, with medical records less than 3 months old, beginning menopause and have a regular physician willing to discuss your case keep moving.
