I began performing dental implants in 1979 after a year-long program offered at the University of Southern California. I have successfully placed thousands of implants since then. In 1986 I co-founded--with several other prominent implantologists--the Southern California Dental Implant Study Club. I was also a member of the Loma Linda University Dental Implant Study Club from 1985 to 1993.

I earned my DDS in 1971 from the University of California, San Francisco and continued post-graduate training at the Harvard Forsyth Training Center for Clinical Scholars in Oral Biology. I received my D.M.Sc. degree (Doctor of Medical Sciences) fin 1975 it is a degree accomplished thru the Harvard school of dental medicine under the auspress of the Faculty of Medicine. I was awarded my Certification in Periodontology from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in the same year. I am a former Assistant Professor of Periodontics (1971-1973) and Clinical Professor (special assistant to the Dean 1994) at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.I began performing dental implants in 1979 after a year-long program offered at the University of Southern California.
