Since the establishment of our orthodontics office in 1974, our practice has been committed to providing the highest standard of quality, and individualized care for the patients. Dr. Abar’s team is committed to maintaining excellent orthodontics at a competitive price. Our priority is the satisfaction of patients. We provide a wide range of services uniquely tailored to help patients receive the best smile possible. Dr. Abar established the current team in 2003, and continued on a tradition of high quality of care, along with excellent service. and extended availability to accommodate the needs of our patients. Based on your initial consultation Dr. Abar will provide you with different treatment options, estimated costs, and the duration of the appropriate treatment. We will spend the necessary time to answer all of your questions. During your first visit we will set aside time to answer any questions you may have, as well as take a full set of records. At any time after your first visit we will gladly answer any further questions via phone or email.

Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry specializing in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of jaw, face, and bite irregularities (malocclusion). Gaps, crowding, structural deficiencies, etc. can be transformed to a pleasant and attractive smile.

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommend all children see an orthodontist by age 7. Aside from raising children’s self confidence, this will also ensure the upper and lower jaws, and all permanent teeth, are developing in a normal pattern. When treatment is started early, the orthodontist can guide the growth of the jaw and guide incoming permanent teeth. Early treatment can also regulate the width of the upper and lower dental arches, gain space for permanent teeth, avoid the need for permanent teeth extractions, reduce likelihood of impacted permanent teeth, correct thumb-sucking, and eliminate abnormal swallowing or speech problems.
