They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very empathetic to my situation. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience. Dr swearingen takes the time to listen and he asks good questions about how you have been feeling since your last visit.

If I were to write specifications for an excellent general practitioner, Jeff would fit them exactly. He listens, he is flexible, he is very clear about what is known and not known about any condition that I bring to him, and he is very clear about the range of possible outcomes of any therapy he prescribes. He makes good referrals for specific conditions that require a specialist. I am 73 and have been doctoring with Jeff for quite a while. Although I am healthy for my age (in Jeff's words, "not too bad considering the mileage"), at 73 I seek medical care a lot more than I did when I was 23 or even 53. My chronic conditions are arthritis, glaucoma, anxiety/depression, and sciatica. Jeff has helped me to manage them as well as possible so that I can continue to be active, productive, and happy.
