I showed up on time for my appointment, but they didn't even have the decency to respect my schedule. They showed up over an hour late for my appointment, and by then I was ready to leave instead of spending my entire day waiting for them. Their staff was lacking, I didn't feel welcome there. Usually, most professionals display their credentials, but they didn't. It made me doubt her qualifications. She didn't listen, jumped to conclusions and made condescending remarks toward my child. I was in shock and disbelief. I have NEVER experienced anything like it!! Things escalated quickly inside the office. I had to call the police because she struck me. The police asked me to remain outside, while they went inside and asked her to tell them what happened. After speaking with her they told me they agreed that she didn't seem "quite right", but I had no marks, and it could of been an accident. It got worse, she told the police that she believed I was a neglectful parent who allowed by children to share a room. She told them she suspected that one child could be abusing the other child. It was a complete and total lie. The police said she was required by law to report any abuse to them, and that although her version of events was different from mine, they had to treat her claim seriously. Child protective services were called. During the initial investigation, I felt like I was treated as if it were true. That because she was a professional that she was believable. ONE of my children HAD to be REMOVED from my home during the investigation!! After our 2nd meeting the case worker apologized to me, he said there are bad apples in every profession. I went through the "process" of clearing our names. It took almost SIX weeks to complete their investigation AND both children were interviewed by the District Attorney, a State psychologist and several social workers. We were cleared and the entire thing was dropped, but the affects of her behavior have lived on. Neither of my children (or me) have forgotten her behavior or what she did. She truly does NOT belong around children or in the field of psychiatry. I was NEVER recommend her to anyone.

Absolutely not! I was seen right away!
Did this psychiatrist ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you?
They would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.
