Dr. Basham was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana and attended Lawrence North High School. After receiving his bachelor's degree in biology from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, Dr. Basham earned separate master's degrees in biology and physiology and biophysics from IUPUI. Following these, he received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine.
After completing the Community Family Medicine Residency program in 2006, Dr. Basham worked in private practice with the Hancock Physician Network in New Palestine, IN until 2010. Since that time he has been back in the Community family. He worked as medical director and urgent care physician at the MedCheck in Noblesville until going into private practice in 2011. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Basham enjoys all aspects of family medicine and is able to care for adults and children of all ages.
Dr. Basham enjoys traveling, golf, IU basketball, and spending quality time with his wife Kathryn and sons Nicholas and Jack.
