I was referred to Dr. Ceravolo by my general dentist. Dr. Ceravolo recomended lowering a gum line, so the family dentist could build a crown on the tooth (instead of pulling it). I went through the surgery to find out that my tooth was either cracked, or got cracked during the procedure. I even went back to his office to see if he'd give me a fair price on placing an implant considering what he put me through; and since now I have to get the tooth with lowered gum line pulled. I was quoted $1,800, which is a going price for the procedure per my family dentist.
I told my friends and about hundred clients of mine in the county about this ridiculous incident. People need to be aware of practices like this. And by the way, I am not going back to my family dentist either.
