It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. The first appointment scheduled was actually for my 3 year old daughter and that went pretty well which urged me to make a dental cleaning appointment for myself. I made the appointment two weeks in advance and they had my insurance information. At both my appt and my daughters, the staff whispered behind a screened wall and talked amongst themselves as if my daughter wasn't even there. There was no warm greeting or encouragement on their end to make my daughter feel comfortable while we waited to be called back. On my appointment day, they waited until the day of the appointment to run my insurance and ended up telling me that I was maxed out in benefits. That ended up being an issue that I needed to resolve with my insurance which had an incorrect claim on there. Nonetheless, I questioned the office staff and the office about why they waited until the day of to run my insurance and that if I had known there was an issue beforehand, I could have had it handled way before appointment day. Needless to say, I did not get my cleaning done and their excuse to my questions was because they were short staff and couldn't get me insurance ran earlier. Very disappointing.

I hate to say but I have a phobia about dentists. I started with Dr. Pilgrim because of the name but continued going to her for many years because of the service. She is no nonsense and very professional. She listens to my concerns and conducts the appointment herself. I hate that I moved away and can no longer visit her. I definitely recommend her!
