This man is beyond any shadow of a doubt, the biggest ASS that my family or I have ever had the misfortune to be treated by. He saw myself and my Husband before he saw either of my children, and although my Husband was an admitted alcoholic, Dr. Suess never offered any sort of treatment or even the suggestion of AA, or Antibuse or anything-I really don't recall him ever being anything but rude and argumentative with my Husband. This due to the fact that he did not accept Dr. Suess' suggestions and/or opinions about our marriage and our parenting skills without question, as Suess apparently expected him to do-instead, he took issue with some of those suggestions and/or opinions, and voiced them...so it seemed that Dr. Suess had problems with having his authority questioned. I felt this as well, due to the fact that I did not like the way he treated my Son, who had not even started school yet when we initially took him to Dr. Suess. I walked out on what would be my Son's last session-due to Suess being very harsh with my Son, when all he wanted was to come up into my lap from the chair next to me, where Dr. Suess had commanded him to sit. As I said, Dr.Suess was very harsh with my Son, as well as rude-rushing him to answer his questions and assuming negative things and/or that my Son was lying if he did not answer quickly enough to suit him. Firstly as I mentioned earlier, he was only four or so, as he had not yet started school-and he also had speech problems, which he was receiving therapy for, and this Dr. Suess was aware of-yet he continued to push him too hard, and then became angry when my Son sought comfort and reassurance in my arms when his "Dr". who was supposed to be a professional-scared him to death. I never took him back after that-the man is very prideful, rude, and unprofessional, and uses fear and intimidation with children, rather than proven, accepted forms of therapy/treatment. I wouldn't taken my dog to him at this point.
