I saw Dr. Majka a few years back for a toothache and was expecting to have my tooth taken out, but he was able to save it with a root canal. I know what you're thinking-- root canal=pain! But I didn't really have any problems, everything went smoothly and I couldn't be happier. More important (I realized later) is the thoroughness of his exam though. Talk about the future today! He used some detailed Xrays and some sort of hi-tech lasers to diagnose other problems with my mouth that weren't obvious. I regret to say that I ignored the issues he found with a couple of other teeth, because I wasn't in pain, and over the years one of my teeth became trouble again, except this time it had to be removed! I did not want to be gap-toothed for the rest of my life, and Dr. Majka was able to give me some other options. I wound up getting a tooth implant that looks just like my real tooth. I with I had listened from the beginning so I didn't have to resort to extreme measures, but if my story can have a happy ending, it is that Dr. Majka was able to restore my mouth to what it should be. Truly I am amazed everytime I look at my teeth in the mirror. I had a friend in a similar situation and told her she should get the same thing done, but her dentist knew nothing about it. I've since learned taht Dr. Majka is one of the few people in all of the midwest who does this kind of work, so I told her to go there. The best, absolutely the best!
