Great care as far as Dr. Tirtha goes! My children have gone to him for a long time. However, due to his billing staff, nobody in our family will EVER go there again! Our chiildren have Medicaid and Blue Cross. Our son had reached his limit on services for the year that Blue Cross would pay, so Medicaid would pick up the rest of his bill. The only problem with that is that his medicaid had been, unbeknownst to me at the time, canceled. Dr. Tirtha's billing staff supposedly verifies Medicaid eligibility BEFORE seeing patients. For some reason, according to Melissa, who works there, the person who was supposed to verify my son's eligibility that day, didn't. So, now they are sending me a bill for $1,234.00! Melissa has been so rude to me. First she told me that yes, they are supposed to verify insurance and she doesn't know why the other girl failed to do that and that she would try to "figure something out with the doctor". Then, during the next phone call, she told me that "services were performed and verifying insurance is just a courtesy we offer" and that the bill is now my responsibility. Well, if it is a courtesy they offer, they why didn't they do it??? I would have appreciated them extending that courtesy to me! I have spent countless hours on the phone between Department of Human Services, Delta Dental, Healthy Kids, and Dr. Tirtha's office for months now trying to get THEIR mistake fixed to no avail! I have sent a form in to DHS to try to get this bill paid by Medicaid since the Medicaid being canceled was a computer error. I have heard nothing as of yet from them and now Dr. Tirtha's office is threatening to send me to collections!!! I was told by a lady who works at Delta Dental that it is the responsibility of the billing people to make sure that the insurance is verified before seeing the patient. THEY failed to do that. I didn't know his Medicaid had been canceled! Do not trust the people who work in Dr. Tirtha's office! They do not do their jobs and it will cost your family money!

Absolutely not! I was never uncomfortable

Very! I've never seen an employer treat their staff better

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Absolutely! They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen
