I visited Dr. Maddali office at 1180 Route 46 W. Suite 211 in Parsippany, NJ 07054 first time in my life on Friday, July 12, 2019 in order to restore a veneer, placed in my mouth by another dentist about 15 years ago. I was paying cash since my insurance does not cover dental cosmetic work.
First issue - she let me go without a temporary laminate. Never before any dentist released me without a temporary laminate, crown or bridge.
Second issue - she promised that the new veneer will be ready in a week, but she'll try to speed it up. As it turned out Dr Maddali was not even in the office on Friday, July 19 and she "forgot" to mention it to me, and accordingly my veneer was not ready in a week as promised. She finally put my new veneer in on the following Saturday, July 27, which made it two weeks instead of promised one week.
Third issue - the veneer she put on came off same day on my way home from the dentist office! I believe that the expectations are that the good quality veneer will stay in the mouth for about 10-15 years. So basically I paid for a brand new veneer staying in my mouth for only half an hour!? Does it meet the insurance standards?
Fourth issue - since I paid cash before leaving the office not knowing that the veneer will come off on my drive home, I requested a receipt with the explanation of work done. I was shocked to see besides July 12 entry (my 1st visit) also the three entries on June 1, 2019, even though I've never been in this office or seen this dentist before, ever! Don't you call it a fraud?

The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit. I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on. I am not going to refer my family and friends here. I just wasn't that impressed. Sometimes, I have to persuade them that I have an important concern that needs their attention. There have been times that they've paid attention to my concerns, but not many. They are always polite and never use foul language, which I really appreciate. It's always made me uncomfortable at other places when I've heard them use foul language, but they don't here. I know I can bring my kids, and not worry about it.
