First rate in quality, knowledge and compassion.

My entire mouth was a disaster when I first visited Dr. Alter in 1984.
28 years later, my mouth has been fully restored artfully. And, may I say, painlessly.
Over the years, I have referred 20-30 co-workers, family and friends.
I always get the same feedback that I had felt myself from day one.
"Dr. Alter is so patient, painless and caring as he does his dentistry.
And, his results are outstanding!"

So, in a nutshell, as long as he is in practice, I will never have another dentist touch my teeth!

Best dentist I have been to in New York. What can I say!

Dr. Alter's phenomenal skill level along with his soothing and gentle touch makes it a pleasure to visit his office each and every time. And, I have now been doing so for 25 years. From the most basic treatment to the 12 porcelain veneers he did for me, each visit is always a non-event. I actually sleep well the night before I go, unlike my experiences prior to being his patient.

His receptionist is one of the most welcoming of any doctor's office I have been to. She has always helped me get reimbursed with little trouble from my insurance company.

I would highly recommend Dr. Alter for your dental needs.
