Korkosz Endodontics PC, was FANTASTIC! I'm about 7 months pregnant and was told by my dentist I needed a root canal, even though I prefer an extraction due to the severity of the pain. Korkosz, got me in a fast time frame, immediately took x-rays, and stated my best options. She knew my tooth was in bad shape and didn't beat around the bush about my best options, or even my preference! I appreciate her professionalism. It means a lot when a practice actually puts the patients needs and wants first, rather than just treating me like another transaction. THANK YOU for being a wonderful practice and helping me with an additional opinion on this matter. I will be coming back if I need any work done by an endo. The receptionist was very helpful and kind as well, these days this type of treatment is hard to come by!

HORRIBLE!! WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES!! I should have known better when they didn't want me to go in back with my UNDERAGE DAUGHTER on her FIRST visit. I should have been angry when they BOLD FACED LIED TO ME on visit 2 and said they were bringing her in back to get her "set up", and would call me when she was going to be seen. Next thing I know I hear the drill going because Korkosz is WORKING ON MY DAUGHTER! And I was furious when on visit 3 they tried to do the SAME EXACT THING almost word for word trying to keep me away from where my daughter was to be worked on. That time I walked right past the woman and said "I don't think so, thats what you said YESTERDAY and look what happened"! The woman just laughed! In a misguided attempt not to be that overprotective mom, once my daughter had been "numbed up" I returned to the waiting area. I later found out that my daughter kept telling Korkosz she was really hurting her but Korkosz would not stop drilling!!!! I initially brought my daughter in on a THURSDAY for pain from a small filling that was done on that Tuesday. Korkosz made us pay $85.00 up front for a consultation fee. She then had us come back later that day wanting an ADDITIONAL $200.00 (even though they accept our insurance which would cover the procedure) to do a root canal (which come to find out from a COMPETENT dental expert WASN'T EVEN NEEDED TO BEGIN WITH!). When we were done she said there would be pain comparable to a bad bruise for a couple of days, but if it was still a problem to call the office. My daughter was in HYDROCODONE level pain from the moment the novocaine started wearing off. I waited a day to call though because Korkosz said it would be painful for a day or so. On SATURDAY MORNING I called the office and got a beeper # from the answering machine. I called and called and called and called all weekend. Nothing. Finally on MONDAY the receptionist called me back. Didnt even bother to apologize for not returning the beeps from over the weekend. Just told me she checked the batteries in the beeper and they seemed fine. Ok, wouldn't want the "expert endodontist" to accept any responsibility for anything, right?? Korkosz had us go back in that day and filed the filling down and said it would be fine. The NEXT DAY when we had to GO BACK AGAIN, she filed it down some more. It now has to be BUILT BACK UP because she took so much of the tooth! We have been brought back into that office FIVE times in EIGHT DAYS! On the first visit Korkosz told me to stop the antibiotic the dentist had given us on Tuesday because there was no infection in the tooth. Against my better judgement I did. On visit FIVE Korkosz removed the temp filling and had to FINISH CLEANING OUT THE NERVE THAT SHE MISSED THE FIRST TIME!! You know, the one that she kept insisting was gone and was not causing any pain! When I asked (TWICE) should I start the antibiotic again I was told, once again, not to because Korkosz said she could see there was no infection brewing. Foolishly I listened to her again. Finally on Monday I got a referral from a friend for a GOOD dentist. I brought my daughter in and only paid $50.00 for a visit where the Dr. spent more time with us explaining things and COMPASSIONATELY helping us than Korkosz bothered to spend with us in ALL FIVE VISITS. The REAL Dr. also took an x-ray which Korkosz wouldn't do after the first visit, and saw a dark spot indicating the start of an infection!! We have since re-started the antibiotic and after only THREE DOSES my daughters pain level is FINALLY going down. BTW Korkosz will not write a prescription for pain meds no matter how much pain you are in. She makes you go home and schedule an appointment with your general dentist if you need anything stronger than Ibuprofen! I will never forgive myself for deferring to this "experts" advice. If you are still reading this rather long commentary, you may have noticed that at NO TIME did I refer to Korkosz as Dr. This was intentional as in my opinion she doesn't deserve the title. I also don't know how Korkosz looks at herself in the mirror knowing she has carelessly caused so much pain. Needless to say we will NEVER go back there, we will NEVER refer anyone to her, and in my opinion she deserves a big fat ZERO on any professionally related rating scale. By the way did you notice that the only other review was done anonymously?
