I saw three different othrodontist in Bend and I wasn't impressed with any of them. They all wanted to play the waiting game until our grandson's permanent teeth had come in. This way they could charge us triple the amount for orthodontic's.
When we saw Dr. Lynch his approach was that we do controlled extractions and help his permenet teeth come into postion by making room for them as they come in.
Funny this makes alot more sense to me, widen what is too narrow to make room while the jaw bones are still soft and plyable, so that when he is older we don't have to brake and cut his jaw to move it forward, or crack his upper arch
if need be when he is an adult. Let's talk apples and oranges shall we?
He charges 1/4 of what those knuckle heads in Bend wanted and he is practical. I checked out his methods with a very near and dear friend of ours at Travis Air Force Base who does reconstruction of the face and cranial and he said this man is right on the money.
So I wouldn't let anyone else near any of my grandchildren except Dr.THEODORE LYNCH D.D.S.
