I thought I had finally found a dental home. I have use Dr. Taylor for many years, and brought her business from family members and friends. However, I just learned I am no longer welcome as a patient because I take to long to pay... I wonder what kind of world this would be if we all gave grace to others instead of assuming they...Have, Do, must....choice.

I have never had dental insurance- I am 100% self pay, and was not receiving any discount for the service for not having insurance. I use to pay right away- but like so many others- I was laid off two years ago and haven't found full time work on the same salary base yet. I am working- making a 1/3 of what I was. I am struggling... I have two disable depended children and have recently taken in a 3rd child (family member) down on their luck... It took me 6 months to pay my dental bill in full. I need to first pay my $1,400 a month health ins bill... you see that is a bill I can not be late for as I not only have serious medical conditions, my older daughter has survived 35 brain and skull surgeries and is presently kept alive by a tube that drains fluid from her brain into her abdomen. To my own neglect I didn't realize it was that much of an inconveniences to the office for me to pay it that slow. I would have pay it sooner if I wasn't trying so hard to get my home out of foreclosure- but thankfully after 2 years of applications- I was able to save my home... at least for this month. Very sad I wasn't able to save my dentist... I didn't even mind driving the 20 miles to her office because I felt so comfortable having her treat me. Great dentist- not sure that I can recommend the integrity of a medical professional and women who dismiss steady long time costumers without looking into the delay of payment and then consider looking pass it as a grace she gratefully is able to give... I just assumed better late then never... very disappointed.
