I went to this dentist to have a problem fixed and he did so in a professional manner. I was very pleased. However, I had asked whether or not they accepted my insrance and was told yes...they did. I requested a price for the procedure. I even discussed with the dentist personally my concerns regarding fees and wanted the information clear and up front so I could decide whether I could afford the work he wanted to do. I was given a very specific price for this procedure. I agreed to this price and paid it on the day of service and was prepared to pay it. However, a month later I was sent a bill for $129.00 which was the amount the insurance did not pay. When I called to question this I was told they did not accept ANY insurance and that the patient was responsible for anything the insurance company did not pay.

I am VERY glad that I had postponed the other procedures I needed done. If I hadn't done so I would be paying this dentist a lot of money without even knowing that I owed him money. So be very, very careful when you see this dentist and know that they don't accept any insurance schedule of fees and will bill you for the difference that the insurance does not pay. They did not explain this to me up front even though I very clearly explained my financial situation to them and had asked to know the exact price of the work. Otherwise, I was happy with this dentist.
