We have heard the gripes. Many of our patients, friends and even family have seen dentists who are quick to fix problems without helping them understand what is really going on in their mouth and how it is effecting their whole body. With gum disease affecting nearly half of Americans over 30, we recognize that that there is a big problem that can be stopped. We feel if we can properly educate patients on how to take care of their teeth and gums, they can avoid a lot of future dental problems and, as science suggests, even lessen the chances of developing heart disease and other systemic problems.
We are doing our patients a disservice if we don’t take the time to listen to their concerns, understand their oral and diet habits and get to know them as individuals. We want to deliver treatment in a meaningful way that puts out patients at ease and effectively treats dental problems as well as helps them get closer to their overall aesthetic goals.
