Do NOT go here for an emergency. They claim to take 1-2 emergency appointments per day, if you show up at 7:30 am, but it's all a lie. I showed up at 7am to make sure I'd be the first, as I have a genuine dental emergency. Because I use a cane and they didn't open the doors until 7:30am, the guy who showed up just before they opened got in first. The lady at the desk still said they'd take me first after I explained that, though.

Then, I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited. I started feeling dizzy from the pain (did I mention this was an EMERGENCY?). I took a pain pill at 9:30, went to the bathroom, and then waited to see if the pain pill would help with the dizziness. It did, but not much, and as I'd already been waiting over 2 hours by this point, and my back and neck were hurting from their horrible chairs, I finally went up to the front desk (near 10am) and told them I was dizzy and asked if there was somewhere I could lie down while I waited. They found me an empty exam room, and made sure they had my name, assuring they'd come inform me if I was called.....and nothing until around 2pm when suddenly they needed the room I was in. So the person by the medical section went to talk to the dentists, and finally came back and informed me "they'd already had one emergency that day, and there was no room for me."

So I went back and reminded them I was supposed to be first, and this person said that they hadn't taken ANY emergencies that day. So, one of them lied to me and I don't know which. In either case, they never bothered to inform me they weren't going to fit me in until I was in their way. So, I'm even MORE sore than I was before, this infection is spreading, my tooth is still broken, and I wasted an entire day waiting just to be ignored and forgotten about without so much as an apology. And they are a medical place as well as a dental place, yet no one cared that I was barely able to stay upright even with my cane. They also REFUSED to make me an appointment for any time this week at all. I'd have to wait until MAY (it's currently March), even though it's an EMERGENCY and I was actually told by the E.R. doctors that I needed to see a dentist immediately. They don't care.

Then to top everything off, I get home and discover an email, timestamped at 8:45am, informing me that they had set an appointment for me for 9:30am. I was IN THE WAITING ROOM from 8:45-9:30am, where they told me to be, where they said they would come inform me if they could fit me in, and they didn't bother to come. Also, since that is the time I got dizzy, I remember when I came out of the bathroom the other able-bodied "emergency" had gone. I thought he'd given up and left, but now I'm thinking they gave him my appointment, and the first person had told me the truth. The second person didn't want to admit that they discriminated against me for having a cane or not being able to communicate as easily as him, so she flat-out lied to me.

No one EVER mentioned this supposed appointment, or that I'd missed it, not even when I was still asking what happened at 3pm!

So......DON'T go here for an emergency, whatever you do. You'll end up wasting two days, because obviously I couldn't call anywhere else by the time I got home (hour-long bus ride) because they're all closed!

Meanwhile I'm still in agony with a broken tooth and pain spreading through my ear and jaw as well as my mouth, that they never so much as asked about.
