Do Not Trust this Man, My Advise...Before seeing this doctor if You are there for a Workers Comp Injury, Retain a Lawyer first. If not You may regret the final outcome or prognoses given by him at the end. I was injured in a fall at work hitting the left side of my head. I was knocked unconscious for several minutes. I was left with a major concussion, nerve damage all around my left ear and severe problems with my neck.
He completely ignored anything that my Vestibular Therapist I'd been working with for the last 2 months had in her report. The Neurologist I saw the day before recommended continuing my Therapy due to ongoing problems in my neck. This doctor and my case worker left the room for a few moments to discuss my case without me, (which at the time I didn't realize I had the right to hear anything they discussed), He returned to the examining room and handed me a script stating I could return to work with NO RESTRICTIONS. Fortunately for me, the neurologist had me on full work restriction. Because of this, I have time to enlist the aid of an attorney and reverse his diagnoses before it is too late. Do I have good reason for concern about his final diagnosis? For well over a month, I kept stating that certain movements of my neck felt like something was pulling on the inside of my ear and was ignored. 3 days after my last visit with this doctor, I was carrying a bag of groceries up the 6 steps leading to my front door. As I was doing this, suddenly something Popped inside my ear drum. Now it is doing it constantly along with a whirring sound that comes and goes with certain jaw and neck movements. This is on top of the Tinnitus (Constant ringing in the ear) that is part of my permanent damage left from my fall. Don't take a chance of You becoming another workers comp horror story. I hope this note aids others view this guy with both eyes wide open right from the beginning. God Bless. James
