Great doctor, but their office staff is RUDE and should not be handling customers or answer phones (not that they actually call people back). This office was recommended highly, but due to the APPALLING RUDE OFFICE STAFF I am looking for another doctor.

I wasn't greeted at all when I entered their office. I could tell the lady behind the desk noticed I walked in, but she still didn't acknowledge me. I just signed in and sat down. The woman at the front desk always looks like shes angry. I hope her face doesn't freeze like that or maybe it already is. They are always miserable looking and always gathered in a group talking badly about other patients, which I think is against the new privacy laws. I stood their at the check-out window listening to the conversation about how The office manager told a lady off for wanting to see the doctor at her appointment time. The woman was angry for having to wait a long time. The office manager said how she told her off because she didn't like the way the lady was behaving. The Office manager is sort of the rodeo queen, getting everyone in an uproar about how she told a patient off because she didn't like the way they were acting. While all the other girls chime in and tell her how right she was. Dr Packman's nurse, Stephanie is always smiling asking "how you are feeling" and all around sweet lady and I know the vultures in that office treat her badly and say she's crazy, well if she is , she hides it very well. She is one of the reasons why I still go to this office. I think Dr. Packman is a great Doctor but the staff in that office is terrible and gives they give the doctors there a bad reputation. It can take up to 4 days to get a prescription, and sometimes they don't call it in at all for an additional couple of days. If you make a fuss about it, they will never admit they made a mistake, they blame the doctor or you for the reason it wasn't called in. And if the doctor is on vacation, forget it all together...it will take forever for the other doctors to get the request and then it may not get called in or you might get enough until Dr Packman comes back. Maybe they have too many patients. Roxanne in particular, is a very condescending, nasty woman. She's also very angry all the time. Maybe if they stop talking about other patients and how they set them straight they could do their jobs. I don't think they realize they work in a Dr office at all. I believe if someone was to go in there and fire everyone and start over, except for Stephanie and Bill this office would be great.
