Dr. Charles D. Crowley received his Bachelor of Arts from Lehigh University and worked for several years with Upjohn Company as a Hospital and General Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. He graduated from New York Medical College in 1990 and completed his ophthalmology residency at the New York Medical hospital affiliates where he served as Chief Resident. Dr Crowley is the Medical Director of Associated Eye Physicians and has expanded it to a three physician multidisciplinary ophthalmology office. Dr. Crowley has a special interest in LASIK refractive surgery. He trains and consults with eye care specialists throughout the country to improve their LASIK surgery results. Dr. Crowley is an attending physician at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan where he trains ophthalmology residents. He is a member of the medical staff Valley Hospital and the Medical Director of Ophthalmology at The Clifton Surgical Center, participating member of the Bergen Passaic cataract and laser surgical center. Dr Crowley is one of the first surgeons in the country to preform cataract surgery with the Restor lens and Acrosoft Aspheric lens along with the first lens to repair astigmatism. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American and International Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, American Medical Association, as well as the State Societies of Ophthalmology in New York and New Jersey. Dr. Crowley has also been a member of the Police Chiefs Association of Passaic County, New Jersey since 1999.
