We do screen every single patient who calls our office to make an appointment with our providers,
We would like to make sure, that every patient is taken care according to their presenting problems and concerns. Some patients have acute symptoms and should not be asked to wait for the earliest available appointment, We have ethical reponsibility to refer these patients out to providers who can accomodate them sooner, than we can. True emergency cases are being referred directly to the nearest emergency room for a promp psychiatric evaluation. We are also not specializing in the treatment of drug/alcohol addictions, domestic violence, eating disorders and treatment of dementia.
These topics are not within our area of expertise, so please do not be upset if we can not accomodate you and provide you with the referral to an outside specialist. This is only done with the best intentions for your overall care.

We are Board Certified psychiatrists and Licensed Social Workers working together as a team to provide the most effective way to treat children, adolescents and adults with emotional difficulties.
