Dr. Steve Rucker, treated my late father after he suffered total organ failure due to a diseased heart valve implanted 10 days earlier at NYU Langone Tisch Hospital in New York City.. Dr. Rucker accused my brother and brother-in-law, that they were giving the hospital the impression that they wanted my father dead. The doctor asked for 3 more days of aggressive treatment, after which my father survived, but since Dr. Rucker was being paid by my brother, he never told my father of Randal Carmel's intentions, after my father regained his cognitive ability. This led to my father's subsequent death. Dr. Rucker has consistently refused to tell the truth about his accusation that day. in the hospital's conference room. Dr. Rucker caused my father to suffer for 15 months at the hands of my brother, who denied him both nursing care, and rehabilitative care. Has anyone on this site came across the situation where the doctor cares more about pleasing the medical fee provider, than the heath of the patientt?

I admire that Dr. Rucker saved my father's life at Saint Francis Hospital, by demanding that my brother and brother in law, stop giving the hospital staff impression that they wanted to terminate my father's life support. After 4 days on complete life support, over the persistent objections of my younger brother and brother-in-law. However, I am extremely disappointed that Dr. Rucker, was so unconcerned with my father's health, that his in actions following my father's transfer to Saint Francis Hospital, Dr. Rucker delayed,, and jeopardized my father's recovery, by failing purposefully to inform my father that the intention of my brother and brother in law, was to terminate his life support from November 11th-15th. Dr. Rucker acted extremely unethical by refusing to inform is patient that, I was the only sibling to insist that the total life support, including daily dialysis continue. The refusal of Dr. Rucker to accurately inform my father of his conditions,, and they event that took place at Saint Francis. Dr. Rucker simply sided, shamefully with the money. My younger brother held a power of attorney of his affairs. This behavior is against the Hypocritical, by withholding the truth about my father's treatment at Saint Francis. If Dr. Rucker actually cared about the survival of his patient, that includes fostering family support. In addition, Dr. Rucker provided HIPPA protected information to a non-medical proxy older, my brother in law. Due to the unethical behaviors of Dr. Rucker, my father is now in the hands (medically) of the 2 people he knew, were interested in terminating my father's life. Thanks to his loyalty to the wealthy, or to the heir apparent of his patients, Dr. Rucker has done nothing whatsoever to prevent the destruction of the cognitive ability of my father, by turning his back on my father, with regards to the dangerous irreversible effects of low eGFR levels, combined with extremely high BNP levels. There is a direct connection between high BNP levels and dementia, and low eGFR levels with loss of cognitive abilities.
