Dr. Schattman is an incredible doctor! He has been my doctor through a few harrowing medical procedures to remove complex cysts on my Ovaries and 4 cycles of IVF to freeze eggs over the past 5-6 years. Additionally my other Ovary is prone to growing Ovarian cysts so it looked like I would have to have the other one out. I was in my middle 20's when I came to him and freaked out that I would not be able to conceive a child one day. He has been able to preserve my fertility with his work. While there are many great doctors at Cornell, I have to say he is really the best around at what he does. He is not just good, but gifted and he came at the recommendation as the most talented doctor in the field of fertility and he has lived up to it entirely. He really is determined to get the best result possible for his patients and that translates to excellent results even when circumstances are not ideal. He is more than competent and has a great upbeat energy that elicits confidence in nerve racking situations. He has a wonderful, direct, bedside manner and has really helped me through some of the more challenging moments of my life. I feel lucky to have found someone who has preserved my fertility as well as given me hope of starting a family one day. He is truly a miracle worker and you will get great results if you work with him.
