Terrible. Buchholtz seemed unable to understand the details of what I was telling him. He was also unable to relate what he was doing in a clear manner. He was condescending. His staff did the wrong test and he was unable to determine if I had to stay on blood thinners or come off them and wanted to do more tests in another six months after two sets of tests that were already six months apart. The determination was to be made by the second set of tests. Then, his office staff, after two months of avoiding my calls, wanted me to pay the lab (which didn't care if it was the wrong test done) for the wrong test! I now have to see a hematologist who knows how to communicate with people, knows the percentages of the different options to the medications and is able to relay that to me, and who has to do the test all over again. Buchholtz wasted at least seven months of my time and at five or six co payments to get to NO decisions about staying on the blood thinner or not. DO NOT USE.

He did not like when I asked questions about my disease. He is really not comfortable talking to patients. He has the stuck up attitude that he is better than me because he is a doctor, Total waste of my time. Arrogant little man who went to college in Italy..
