I wish they had taken a little more time to listen to my input and concerns. They tried to listen to me a couple of times, but most of the time they just interrupted me or cut me off. I was a little disappointed at how helpful the staff was when I called with my questions and concerns. They definitely could have been more polite. If I ever need surgery sometime in the future, I’m going to try to avoid returning to them again. I’m hoping I can find someone better. They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. They had a few different appointment times available but none were perfect for my schedule. After being admitted by this surgeon in the hospital, I was there for a total of 11 days. I only ended up actually seeing the surgeon 2 times! He ordered many tests to be done and when i wanted to know my results or what the tests were, ect, he wasn't there and in the end (being as though i was diagnosed with an extremely rare heart defect and will need surgery in my future but am in severe constant pain now) he told my father and me to my face that i was a difficult patient. I was there for 11 days straight pretty much on bed rest, am a single mother so i hadn't seen my child in 14 days at that time (since he went away) and was scared for my health! Having constant chest pains and knowing you have a heart problem can be VERY scary.. he was VERY RUDE WITH ME! No BED SIDE MANNER! You don't treat your patients like that regardless if your a great surgeon!.
