The doctor and his office manager (wife) recommended I have cataract surgery. I went ahead with the surgery several years ago. Insurance didn't cover and it was a $20,000 bill. Had subsequent complications from the surgery and had to correct with laser given by another ophthalmologist, who expressed that I didn't need the surgery so soon.... I hope Dr. Odell used the money on his vacation homes.
