I only made one visit to the office for pain management on the advice of my orthopaedic dr. The doctor did not even look at an MRI of my spine but made a diagnosis of a muscle sprain/strain when I have a bulging disc that has become progressively worse over the last 7 years. He only recommended the use of magnesium for the "muscle strain" and valium as a muscle relaxant. How is that pain management?
After leaving the treatment room he made several "smart aleck" remarks about wasting his breath talking to me about treatment directions. Seemed like he was only interested in the insurance info and the copay.
His nurse then proceeded to put in her 2 cents worth without having any direct knowledge of my case.
If you want to have your chronic pain treated naturally, with sticks, leaves and herbs this is the place for you.
Also you can buy a copy of the Dr.s' book on creationism.
