Fred Chu
Fred Chu, M.D. is the Director of the Glaucoma Service at the Cincinnati Eye Institute and Co-director of the Glaucoma Service at the University of Cincinnati. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and was introduced to medicine by his father who was also an ophthalmologist. He completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University and then returned to St. Louis to earn his medical degree from Washington University. He completed both his General Surgery internship and Ophthalmology residency at Rush University in Chicago. He then completed his fellowship in glaucoma at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Chu is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.Services
