Dr. Hasan attended high school in Youngstown, Ohio before moving to Chicago for his undergraduate and medical school education. He did his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, one of the busiest and largest teaching hospital systems in the U.S. After completing his Ophthalmology residency, he completed his Glaucoma fellowship at the prestigious Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Hasan performs laser and incisional surgeries that include trabeculectomies, glaucoma tube shunts, combined glaucoma/cataract surgeries, and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgeries. He also performs cataract surgeries in patients with and without glaucoma.

The staff was very helpful no matter how many times I called with a question or concern. They never made me feel uncomfortable for asking any question. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. I will definitely recommend them to people I know. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered.
