The front office staff and Physican Asstistant, Niel, do very well, but Dr. Kratz is awful. He rushes us every time we visit, doesn't listen, is quick to make specialist referrals and overlooks needs when presenting with more than one issue. He's offered prescriptions and then forgot to fax them, resulting in wasted trips to the pharmacy and multiple reminder calls to his office.

In addition, when prescribed any controlled substance, the office staff will randomly call and demand patients to report within 24 hours with their pill bottles for a "pill count" and urine analysis and charge $25 each time. To charge a fee to patients in compliance is ridiculous. They force you to choose one pharmacy at the location you specify to have the meds filled. You can't choose Rite Aid in general and have access to all Rite Aid stores, which is, nice when you live in one city but work in another. You have to designate a specific pharmacy, sign a contract and only use that location. While I understand the need to monitor controlled substances, this facility is going over-board and it's highly inconvienent for someone who complies with usage instructions and does not abuse the drug. I've had many pill count visits and each time was in perfect compliance, but can't build enough credibility to reduce the number of pill count visits they demand. I've obtained a new doctor within the Wellspan family and have been assured I'll have none of the issues with him that I've had with Kratz!
