I recently returned to Johnstown, Pa. after 35 years and did not have a family physician. My father and other family members suggested Dr. Johns. I find him to be a rarity amongst doctors. He has even visited my elderly father's home after hours when he could not easily make it to the office for a visit. Based on my experience with other physicians in 3 other states and several cities, I find him more competent and compassionate than most docs, definitely up on all of the technical medical research and treatment regimens. He is thorough and I recommend him to anyone I know who is looking for a primary care or family physician.
