Dr. Lorenzo is wonderful! I like that I just see him and not a rotating schedule of doctors. He is on time the majority of the time, efficient, and definitely keeps a calm demeanor, especially while giving birth. The staff is also great!

We chose Dr. Lorenzo after checking reviews for several doctors online. Most of our friends suggested going to Dr. Smith at Trios but we wanted to deliver at Kadlec. We sincerely regret our decision to choose Dr. Lorenzo.

Our first few visits with him weren't bad, but there was no connection and he was always rushed, and there was a constant tone of condescension in his voice. We looked past these somewhat minor details considering the good reviews and the amount of experience he has. As the visits proceeded his massive ego started to show through his earlier facade. Frequently my pregnant wife would leave the appointments crying, worried that she couldn't trust this doctor.

At our 36 week appointment we came with a few questions about Group B Strep. My wife has allergic reactions to some antibiotics which make her vomit(this would not be fun during labor), so I politely asked the simple question "Why do the antibiotics have to be given during labor?" I was hoping they could be given before labor. Dr. Lorenzo really lost it, from this simple question. He got pink in the face, raised his voice and started saying things like "You really want to come in here and talk about medical theory?!", "You think some idea you just came up with will replace years of medical practice?!", "I went to years of schooling and have been practicing for years and you want to talk about this stuff?!". My wife and I were shocked. His massive ego got the better of him and couldn't hide beneath the surface anymore. My wife and I calmly explained that we just didn't want her to get sick from the antibiotics during labor.

We left the appointment with a feeling of dread. How could we trust this maniac with our child? What if he loses his temper during our sons birth? Yet, we felt like we were stuck because she was already 36 weeks along. During the next few days, my wife and I literally lost sleep trying to figure out what to do next. We talked to several friends and they suggested finding a new doctor, so we did. We found Dr. Logston he's a wonderful OB/GYN and has a great personality.
