Dr. Greulick was my son's pediatric physician from the time he was a newborn until he turned about 4 years old. We moved out of the state and have found a new pediatrician in the state we now reside in (12 hrs away). My son is now 5 and ready to start school, but she still REFUSES to send his new pediatrician his shot records in order for him to start kindergarten. Yesterday was his school's orientation for kindergartener's and his heart is broken because he is not being able to start in the state we live in without proof of vaccination. All of which SHE has given him. I am NOT going to make my son repeat all his vaccines which is proven to lessen the effectiveness of the ones he's received, nor should he be forced to. I am extremely unsatisfied with her unwillingness to work with us in regards to simple shot records which are needed in order to start school!!!!
The office is rather small and kind of dirty. I really didn't like my child playing with the toys provided. The receptionist and the nurses are very nice. Dr. Greulick on the other hand is a little hard to swallow. She is very knowledgeable but very abrasive in the way she talks to and handles the children. When I visited I was still a vaccinating parent and she had me hold my own daughter down while they injected her. It broke my heart to have to do that to my baby. It also bothered me that I was given no information or counseling on the vaccines given. Had i been given proper education on what I was injecting into my baby I may have made the decision to delay or not vaccinate sooner. Another thing I found unappealing was taking my diapered baby into a room with other waiting patients to use the only scale. It made me feel uncomfortable to interrupt their appointment. At one of my appointments she actually gave me a lecture on childhood masturbation that freaked me out so much I decided to switch doctors.
