Dr. Fava is extremely compassionate and genuinely cares about helping his patients. I have been going to him for over 15 years now and yes be prepared to wait but it is well worth the wait! Dr. Fava actually listens to my concerns, answers all of my questions, and never have I felt rushed by him. I am incredibly thankful for my 20/15 vision, thanks to the lasik procedure I had done by him.

Dr. Fava overbooks, so plan to loose an entire day of work, or just an entire day if you are retired. He consistently runs 3-4 hours behind and when I mentioned this to a nurse she said, yes, that is the way Dr. Fava wants it. Then, when he does see you he spends a total of about 47 seconds with you. This doctor has utter disrespect for his patients and their time. I shouldn't get started on the nurses and the office employees, but I will. They have the bedside manner of water buffalo. They often gossip and complain about the patients. I don't have insurance and pay cash, for which there is no discount. I certainly do not pay $115-$350 cash out of my pocket to show up and hear about their problems and how my appointment has inconvenienced them today when I'm paying that much money. The whole organization is poorly run, inconsiderate and undeserving of your business. Do whatever you can to find and go to another docter in this area. He wastes your time and money and they will be rude to you.
