So, I researched this doctor on the internet before scheduling my appointment. I expected great service. I made an appointment with Dr. Riley, and was told nothing different on the phone when I scheduled with this office. I have still never seen Dr. Riley. I was actually seen by a girl named Ashley who introduced herself as a Physicians Assistant. She looked like she was barely out of high school. I am sure she is certified as a physicians assistant, but just looks very very young. Although disappointed that I wasn't able to see Dr. Riley, I paid my copay and left. A few days later, I called and expressed my concern and disappointment for not being able to see Dr. Riley (who I made the appointment with). The girl who answered the phone said "Sarah is just as good as Dr. Riley". Not so. Experience means a lot when it comes to a Doctor, wouldn't you say? So, I called last Friday, because I was still feeling bad. I asked that Dr. Riley call me back, but I was only allowed to speak with Sarah, per the on call service. Sarah called back and recommended an over the counter medication. My husband and I went to HEB, and picked up the medicine. I searched the internet before I took it, and found that is not safe for me due to a medical condition I have. Sarah had full knowledge of my Medical history, and told me to take it. I called back and left a message for Sarah, wondering why she told me to take this medication, since it could be harmful to me. She called back and said that she and Dr. Riley didn't feel it was wise for me to take it. I had found that simple fact out on the internet, and brought it to her attention! Sarah lacks experience, and will not be returning to this office.
