My father went to see Dr. DeVere yesterday. He has been diagnosed with memory loss due to mini strokes and he and my stepmother wanted a doctor who was closer to them. My sister attended the appointment with them and they all came away from this appointment angry and frustrated. Dr. DeVere would not listen to them, kept cutting them off and told them that usually its the caregiver who is the problem in these situations. He would talk down to them, was rude and very condescending. When they got home, my father called and said he would never go back to that office so then Dr. DeVere called my stepmother on her cellphone and argued and threatened her. I am so upset my father and stepmother had to go through this. This man is a nightmare!
