An advantage to Dr. Playfair’s practice is that she prescribes medications and offers psychotherapy as well as classical psychoanalysis. Additionally, she provides supervision and mentorship to other mental health professionals. She has had the pleasure of teaching medical residents at the UT Southwest Texas Medical Center and the University of Virginia, where she completed her residency.
