He then completed a residency in podiatric surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and has served as President of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, has served on the Texas State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners and was appointed to the Podiatric Medical Advisory Board to the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration.
