Dr. John Onufer is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He attended the University of Notre Dame and received his fellowship training at Washington University School of Medicine. He has practiced in the Richmond market for over 5 years relocating from Norfolk, Virginia and is recognized nationally as at Top Doctor. He is a recognized expert in cardiac electrophysiology, pacemaker and ICD implantation, biventricular pacing, ablation therapy for tachyarrhythmias and syncope and lead extraction. Dr. Onufer was my cardiologist from 1995-2004. I had atrial fibrillation and Dr. Onufer cured my problem with an ablation. I would recommend him as he is one of the best cardiologists in the field.
