after waiting two hours in the hot office I was told my deductible was $300. Only problem being they are the "in-network" provider for my insurance company. The receptionist quoted me the 4;out -of-network" deductible. I called my insurance company who said they log all calls from providers at the weekend and there was no call from Advanced urgent medical care. Unless instead of calling the Providers Phone # on my insurance card he called the Members Phone #? I was the second person in line at 12:04pm and was told this info. at 2pm. Also was told I was put to 4 in line because it took me fifteen minutes to fill out the forms for a new person! Yikes.

Dr. Pickens makes the experience of going to the doctor's office - not a dread, but - almost a treat. Her office is a pleasant setting. The chairs are comfortable, and the medical assistants are cheerful and courteous. When I go to her office, I always know I am going to get excellent medical treatment. In addition, she demonstrates genuine personal concern in a professional manner. I like that patients are accepted on a walk-in basis such that it gives me added flexibility in deciding when I must arrive at her office. I am glad her office is located in my geographical area and such a capable medical practice is available to me. I always feel good about the quality health care I get from Dr. Pickens - I know I am in good hands.
